eBay offers its users an easy way to promote their listings, however, promoting listings is not always the best option for all listings. For low-priced products or used items, it’s often a good idea to not promote the listing.

If you have a product for which promotion sounds like a good idea, then go ahead then head to the Promote Your Listing section.

Ad Rate

An Ad rate is a percentage of the total sales price that eBay will deduct each time a customer clicks on the promoted listing and makes a sale. The minimum percentage you can set is 2%. The higher the percentage, the more your product will be visible.

Preferences

You can also set the return policies by clicking on the Edit button next to the Preferences heading.

Here, you can set the item location and choose whether you want to allow Domestic or International returns, then click on the Done button.

Congratulations! You have successfully created a listing. You can now choose to Preview this listing or directly List it by clicking on the respective buttons.
